** G&D Integrated**** Transportation Operations Supervisor**Lexington, SC 29073 G&D Integrated is growing in the Southeast Region! We are currently searching for a Business Operations Supervisor to join our Team in Lexington, SC! **The primary job duties of the Operations Supervisor include:*** Managing daily execution of dispatch and planning processes in order to meet revenue, margin, and service requirements. Must be able to adjust the plan and communicate to others the situation that created the need to alter the plan.* Ensuring all DAWGS, reports, message center, and command centers are kept current and up to date. Asset tracking and working with Maintenance department on after-hours breakdowns will be critical.* Coordinating acceptance of tenders and available freight with the customer service team to ensure the fleet has adequate volume to meet revenue targets each month. Serving as night time Customer Service Rep, double checking that appointments are made and customers are notified of service issues, and track and trace requests are met.* Working with new drivers to make sure they fully understand workflow and the importance of following procedures. Works with existing drivers on issues they may be experiencing. Touching base with drivers to promote positive work atmosphere and encourages driver referral program.* Teaching, assisting and guiding drivers on DOT rules/regulations. Ensures and promotes understanding and adherence to HOS and proper vehicle pre/post trip inspections.**Minimum Qualifications:*** High School Diploma and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Truckload Transportation planning or dispatching office is required.* Experience using standard office equipment; Dispatch Software, DAT and Microsoft Office Applications such as Word, Excel, Power Point* Basic knowledge of statistics, data collection, analysis and data presentation would be helpful* Excellent interpersonal communication, problem solving and customer service skills is a must!
