about us. We are searching for a TRAINING SPECIALIST for our 9:00a
– 5:00p (EST) shift, Monday - Friday! Summary: The Training
Specialist provides training to 3D Radiologic Technologists and
Radiologic Technologist Assistants as they strive to meet quality
and productivity standards while completing patient cases. The
specialist leads a virtual classroom utilizing a hybrid approach
with learning modules and instructor-led content delivery. In
addition, the training specialist provides virtual 1:1 support and
mentoring, ensures the technologists are successful in the
utilization of advanced visualization software, and ensures all
trainees display an understanding of protocol requirements for
patient cases. This role requires someone with strong interpersonal
skills who can recognize, research, isolate, and resolve training
and/or technology issues relating to Tera Recon, Vital Images,
VISAGE, and/or other 3D software. Specialists need to understand
adult learning theories, how to use technology in a learning
environment, and how to assess learning. Public speaking and public
presentation skills are required to be successful in this role. It
is important to have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
products and preferred experience using authoring tools like
SnagIt, Articulate, Captivate, or similar. Responsibilities: Manage
the administrative activities involved in virtual training,
training reviews, and educational reviews. Train new hire classes,
internal classes, and select protocols to technologists as
assigned. Professionally manage training activities to produce a
positive learning outcome with a demonstrated skill in adjusting
learning approaches based on learning styles. Deliver exceptional
virtual training experiences using the training sources and
materials provided to you through the Learning Management System
and Source Libraries. Assess cases sent from QA and effectively
meet with technologist for review. Follow up when needed to ensure
success. Aid technologist in gaining all necessary competencies
needed in training. Support the technologist as they work towards
productivity and quality goals. Measured successful will include
post-training performance of trainees. Support training activities
as assigned to support the 24/7 operational needs of the business.
Mutually agreed upon schedule changes may occur to provide optimal
support for all department responsibilities. Other duties as
assigned. Requirements: Excellent interpersonal skills,
professionalism, conflict resolution, high emotional
self-regulation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Proven ability
to multitask effectively and handle a fluctuating workload.
Proficient at troubleshooting problems with common office
equipment. Experience using Microsoft 365 including Teams,
SharePoint, and Outlook. Experience using virtual meeting room
technology and video technology. Comfortable being on camera
leading a classroom daily. Ability to: Ability to communicate
effectively with end-users in non-technical terms. Ability to
assist and/or coach team members and end-users with advanced
technical issues or new protocols. Ability to work responsibly with
or without direct supervision. Education and/or experience:
Required Associate in a medical/radiologic field. Preferred to have
additional educational training in technology, education, or
medical field. Required ARRT RT (R), Preferred CT or MR licenses.
Preferred 2 years’ experience training in classroom or virtual
